Taking place at La Maison Orveda in Shanghai, the exhibition displays distinctive artworks of hazy yet geometrically shaped, glowing colors. Some of Wang Yi’s artworks are painted on glass, and many deceptively look as if they are illuminated by electric bulbs placed within - due to his expert glazing technique. This vision of glow resonates immensely with Orveda’s vision. Curated by Orveda’s founder, Nicolas Vu, this exhibition shows how the glow from within can be the source of unique and radiant beauty.
